BENITEZ Vs ANCELOTTI

   As we all know, there are TWO ABSOLUTE REASONS why we fail to lift a single cup last season. First one was INJURIES  and the second one is our TEAM DEFENSE. Despite having one of the best squad last season, we still fail winning any major tournament. Carlo Ancelotti try his best to solve both problems but he failed in doing so. At the same time luck was not in same pot with Ancelotti where he was sacked at the end of the season even though he won Champions League with Real Madrid. 

   Today I am going to explain in short about Benitez and Ancelotti and their style of coaching and how these two managers play an important role managing the team. Ancelotti likes modify existing technique and creativity in the team and he gives more freedom to the player[let them do what they want]. He is good in uniting the team as one and has good rapport with all players. His weak point is lacking of  tactical skills input for the team and doesn't have enough creativity. This makes other teams easily study our tactics and under him the team was using same tactics against every team they face. Ancelotti prefers 4-3-3 formation where the team will lacking in counter-attacking and extreme defending but it will be more focus on having more possession. Another reason for Ancelotti's failure is not utilizing all players he had under him. He usually use the same players for every game and this will increase the chance of injuries. He also fails to give the young players a chance to play where they can prove their worth and at the same they can bring freshness to the game.

   This is why Perez sacked Ancelotti and appoint Benitez as the new manager. Benitez is the coach who depend totally on tactical skills and he always change his tactics for each different game. He do give freedom to the players but at the same time he will ask the players to give back something in exchange for the freedom. For an example he will let MARCELO to run on the left wing to attack but at the same he need to fall back and defend more tightly if the balls comes down. Benitez is also good in utilizing all his players, he give everyone a chance to play and prove their worth. By doing this, all players even the young players will have the chance to play and the likelihood of  a player get injured will be reduced. Benitez prefers 4-3-2-1 formation where it is more focus on extreme defending and counter-attacking [ Original Madrid style of playing]. 

   Recently the team has went for pre-season tour and face 7 teams and they only conceded two goals and scored 9 goals. In every game, the teams is improvising their defense and they start to play counter attacking. The only thing that the team need to improve is scoring more goals. Benitez still has few more weeks before the new season starts and  need to find a solution where the team can score more goals and defense at same time.

   As many of wondering why I am telling Benitez is better than Ancelotti, this is where you guys get wrong. I am not telling Benitez is better than Ancelotti, to be matter of fact I love Ancelotti when he improvise our game in his season with Real Madrid. He also bring some radical changes to certain players where they create wonders and score more goals like Ronaldo and Di Maria. And the most important thing he won 10th Champions League with the team. But since he was sacked and was replaced by Benitez, we just need to give the same support to Benitez. Give him some time, who knows maybe he do wonder with the team. Both coaches has their ups and downs but as a MADRIDISTA we have a duty to support our team and the manager at any cost.
