LA LIGA : PLAYER OF THE MONTH AND MANAGER OF THE MONTH

La Liga started to give individual awards La Liga Player of the Month and Manager of the Month awards since the season 2013-2014.

Many players received this awards but to be shocking only two Madrid players won the Player of the Month and only twice Madrid Manager won the Manager of the Month.

Much more shocking to that, Barcelona never won once in any of these individual awards in both categories. Being said by the fans, Barcelona is the only team that win two trebles but they forget to mention that their players are nothing in La Liga. Still they can say Messi is going to win Ballon D' Or award and Ronaldo has no chance. To make sense them, Ballon D' Or is an individual award and it is nothing to do with how many trophies you won.

As you can see, Ronaldo won it for the first time in November 2013 and he won it again in May 2015. Another player who had won this award is Karim Benzema and he won it for October 2014.

Carlo Ancelotti won this award two times on October 2014 and April 2015.

To all Barcelona fans, your team may won treble and we respect that but winning treble is not everything.

Casemiro Skills and Goals With Porto

As I promised, I uploaded video on Casemiro skills and goals in Porto. His skills will surprise you and shows how much he improve in one season with Porto.  I won't say he is the perfect defensive midfielder we will have but I can say he will help us with every game he has and he improve at the same time.

He is perfect for Benitez's plan as Benitez love to rotate players in every game. By doing this, Casemiro will have more chance to play and grow up as a matured player. 

All I can say he can be our Maestro if we give a chance to prove to us.

CASEMIRO : THE NEW MAESTRO

Club activated buy back clause for Casemiro from Porto, it is estimated the club will pay around 15 million Euros for Casemiro. Everyone question is how Casemiro going to work in Benitez plan and is Casemiro going be the perfect defensive midfielder for the team??

Since Xabi left, we have suffering a lot in defensive midfielder position and we have played many players in that position but it was not successful. We have three defense midfielders in our team [ Khedira, Illarramendi, Lucas] and all of them fails. Khedira was having some injury problems, Illarramendi is not up to mark and Lucas is still new and he still needs time to adapt.

Since we know Benitez may play 4-2-3-1 formation with Madrid and there is higher chance he will let Kroos play in his original position. Modric will be alone in defensive midfielder position. This is where Casemiro will help the team, he will team up with Modric and this will be perfect combo.

A season loan in Porto helps him a lot in gaining his confidence and bring up his game. Below is his summary for his performance in Porto. He played total 33 game for Porto, he scored 1 goal and 1 assist in Champions League  and he scored 3 goals for Porto in League. He was named Man of the Match two time in Champions League match, his passing success was nearly 82%. He can be a perfect match with Modric, they both can increase the defense of the team, recover many balls and build up the game.

Comparing him to Illarramendi and Lucas, he has higher chance to be success and increase the team defense. But we still need another defensive midfielder in substitutes if Modric or Casemiro injured. There is low chance the team will be signing Verratti [we will talk about it next post] since we have Lucas and Illarramendi.
